About CertSafe
The credential layer for workplace certifications.
CertSafe is a software company building the trust layer between three audiences: the organisations that issue workplace certifications, the workers who carry them, and the supervisors who verify them at the gate. We exist because the gap between those three groups still gets bridged with paper cards, emailed PDFs, and out-of-date spreadsheets — and the cost shows up in lost shifts, failed audits, and the occasional bad incident.
Why CertSafe exists.
A training company in construction safety can issue thousands of OSHA 30 cards a year and never know which of their graduates are still working with current certs. A general contractor running site-specific orientations has no way for a supervisor at the next gate to confirm a worker completed them. A frontline worker can hold ten active tickets across as many issuers, all expiring on different dates.
When the credential layer is paper, email, and spreadsheets, every side loses. Issuers lose the post-issue relationship. Workers lose the cards. Supervisors lose the time it takes to verify by phone or by faith.
CertSafe is the platform that connects the three sides. Any organisation that issues workplace certifications — training companies, licensing bodies, GCs, plant operators, large employers — issues through one Issuer Portal. Workers carry those certs in one verified record. Supervisors verify with one QR scan. It's a narrow product; we do that one thing.
What we believe.
Honor the work
Our customers do skilled, dangerous jobs in unforgiving conditions. The product is designed for gloves, sun glare, cracked screens, and unreliable signal — not for an air-conditioned demo room.
Offline-first or it doesn't ship
Every worker-facing flow has to work without signal. If a feature relies on a perfect network connection, it doesn't ship until the offline story is real.
Defensibility over delight
HSE buyers care about whether a credential record will survive an audit, a regulator question, or a courtroom. We optimise for evidence and integrity before we optimise for aesthetics.
Honest about where we are
We're early. We're not going to claim certifications we don't have or customer logos that aren't real. Where we have something, we'll show it. Where we don't, we'll tell you.
Who's building it.
Raji Subramanian
Raji founded CertSafe to fix the credential-management gap that frontline industries have lived with for too long. CertSafe is registered in Utah, USA, and is in its early stages — currently working with design-partner customers to make sure the product earns its place on a real worksite before it earns a marketing budget.
